Angelou ITEMS FROM THE DIRECTOR OF FINANCE - 2015-0129 Supporting Documents from Finance 1. 2016 Tax Budget Teal said they are requesting a Motion Resolution authorizing and approving the Tax Budget to submit to the County; is used to validate property tax that the county will collect on our behalf; intend to use all of it; they will collect all of it on our behalf; reaffirms for them where we will be starting off the budget process in terms of resources; in our world it is the beginning of the annual budget process; starting the budget for the remainder of this year and onto next year; will begin working in short order with senior staff; look forward to bringing this before Council in a few short months; Schnetzer asked about what items fall under other; Teal said Hotel Motel and previously Estate Tax. Strategic Plan Update Teal said they have identified three firms as finalists for the Strategic Planning Facilitation; will be bringing them to Council for a brief presentation and allow Council to ask a few questions; inviting them to come to the July 13th meeting; will be providing an electronic package to Council with finalists' proposals, examples of their previous work, and a note-taking template; will get in touch with those firms tomorrow; Renner may not be present on July 13th.
