Renner, Nancy R. McGregor, Karen J. Angelou, Brian D. Larick, Brian Metzbower, and Jamie Leeseberg ITEMS FROM THE DIRECTOR OF FINANCE MR-0019-2017 MOTION RESOLUTION TO APPROVE THE 2018 ANNUAL TAX BUDGET AS SUBMITTED TO COUNCIL ON JUNE 26, 2017 AND TO DIRECT AND AUTHORIZE THE DIRECTOR OF FINANCE TO DELIVER SAID TAX BUDGET TO THE FRANKLIN COUNTY OFFICE OF BUDGET NO LATER THAN JULY 20, 2017. Bury said first item is a tax budget; based on the SOM; was pulled from 5 year forecast. RECOMMENDATION: Consent Agenda. 2017-0139 2018-2022 Capital Needs Assessment Bury said next item is distributing Capital Needs Assessment document; made improvements this year; hyperlinks are built into the digital version; have eliminated a section that had a lot of sub-sections; have it organized by SOM projects and road projects; much slimmer this year and believe it will be easier to navigate; on page 2 is an icon key; page 4 are new projects that were added; page 5 talks about facility plan and space needs; please send all questions to Jen Teal to distribute appropriately and compile; Schnetzer asked about facility plan; Mayor Kneeland said deadline is later this year; we should know by the end of the year the outcome of the study; there City of Gahanna Page 1 Finance Committee Meeting Minutes June 26, 2017 are a few things that have been carried for a few years; Larick asked about phases and expectations; confirmed nothing on this will be in this upcoming year’s budget; Bury said laying out our needs, have never been funded; Larick said this is comprehensive list of all projects in the City; Kneeland said this is not for appropriations.
