CALL MEETING TO ORDER Allinder, Chair called the April 11, 2018 Landscape Board meeting to order at 6:02pm at City Hall. B. ROLL CALL Present 6 - Mark DiGiando, Melissa Hyde, Kevin Dengel , Jane Allinder, Matt Winger, and Matt Winger C. APPROVAL OF MINUTES Motion was made by Hyde, seconded by DiGiando, to approve the minutes from the April 11, 2018 meeting. The motion carried by the following vote: Yes: 5- DiGiando, Hyde, Dengel, Allinder and Winger 2018-0061 LB mins 1-10-2018 D. ADDITIONS OR CORRECTIONS TO THE AGENDA New Business: Tree City USA Growth Award E. HEARING OF VISITORS None F. OLD BUSINESS None G. NEW BUSINESS i. Chapter 154 review Stephania Bernard-Ferrell stated that staff have updated City Ordinance Chapter 154 Landscape Board; adding 154.01 (B) and (C). The City of Gahanna Page 1 Landscape Board Meeting Minutes April 11, 2018 changes made include the number of meetings a Board member may miss and the procedure for vacancies on the Board. Motion was made by Hyde, seconded by Winger, to make a recommendation to Council to update Ordinance Chapter 154. The motion carried by the following vote. Yes: 5- DiGiando, Hyde, Dengel, Allinder and Winger 2018-0074 Chapter 154 draft ii. 2018 Meeting dates The Board changed the remaining 2018 meeting dates for August 8 and November 14, 6pm, City Hall. Motion was made by Winger, seconded by Hyde, to approve the change of meeting dates to August 8, and November 14, 2018. Motion carried by the following vote: Yes: 5- DiGiando, Hyde, Dengel, Allinder and Winger iii. Tree City USA Growth Awards Dengel shared the application for Tree City USA Growth Awards. He has been communicating with Rob Wendling, City Forester regarding what the City has done and if we have enough points to apply for the award. Ferrell will research the requirements and see what we have accomplished and will follow-up at the next meeting. H. CORRESPONDENCE AND ACTIONS None I. POLL MEMBERS FOR COMMENT J.
