CALL TO ORDER 6:06 p.m. B. ADOPTION OF THE AGENDA C. APPROVAL OF THE MINUTES Deferred to next meeting due to the lack of a quorum. D. BUSINESS DISCUSSION ITEMS 1. 2023-281 Inclusionary Zoning Recommendations (B) The Committee discussed all the information that they have received regarding Inclusionary Zoning, particularly the information provided and the concerns noted, at the four community engagement meetings. They also reviewed the backup provided by staff, suggesting some changes to better reflect the input that the Committee received and the actions that they wanted to recommend to the City Commission. 1  Recommendation: The Affordable Housing Advisory Committee discuss the feedback it received at the four Inclusionary Zoning Focused Public Meetings, and formulate recommendations to the City Commission. 2. 2023-284 ARPA Project Evaluation Information Mr. Wachtel provided some information about some of the funds that the City can receive from the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA). Mr. Wachtel discussed how the City Commission has asked the Committee to review and recommend using ARPA funds to underwrite certain new affordable housing projects in the City. Recommendation: AHAC receive a brief presentation from staff and review the attached items. 3. 2023-286 SHIP and LHAP Update Mr. Wachtel used a slide presentation to provide a brief update explaining the State Housing Initiatives Partnership (SHIP) Program and updating the status of the Local Housing Assistance Plan (LHAP). The LHAP Update included a summary and explanation of proposed changes. Recommendation: Hear a presentation from staff. E. PUBLIC COMMENT None F. MEMBER COMMENT None G.
