Building Official Chuck Stuart presented this complaint and stated this building was dangerous and unfit for human occupation and use. City Attorney Susan High-McAuley asked if there were any owners or representatives present. With no one coming forward the hearing continued Councilwoman Love made motion to declare this a dangerous building and unfit for human occupation and use and gave thirty days to dismantle or bring up to codes; Councilman Overton seconded. Motion carried with 6 ayes and 0 nays. 2. Danserous Buildine - 1359 S. Water Avenue - L15L A 020.00 000 - Kamran Kami Mehr & Mehramfar Mohammad, Owners. Building Official Chuck Stuart presented this complaint and stated this building was dangerous and unfit for human occupation and use. Owner of the property, Kamran Kami Mehr of 1.46 Gatone Drive, Hendersonville, TN 37075 provided an explanation for the condition of the building and asked council not to tear down. City Planner Bill McCord explained the use for this property. Council discussed the easement on this property Councilman Overton made motion to deciare this a dangerous building and unfit for human occupation and use and gave thirty days to demolish or bring up to codes; Councilwoman George seconded. City Attorney Susan High-McAuley presented a letter of opposition from homeowner Brenda Valentine of 1285 Avondale Road. City Planner Bill McCord stated the properties could be changed and added to the urban growth boundary. Council discussed Councilman Overton made motion to amend to add to urban growth boundary; Councilwoman Love seconded. Council discussed Councilman Overton withdrew his motion; Councilwoman Love withdrew her second. Ordinance #O2203-'t6 - First Reading Councilwoman Love presented this ordinance appropriating $32,150.00 from various budget lines for Gallatin EDA vehicle purchase. Ordinance # L8 - First Readins Councilman Overton presented this ordinance appropria ting $687,7 41. 00 from Donations from Businesses to Gateway Drive Extension Construction. Councilman Overton made motion to approve; Councilman Fann seconded. EDA Director James Fenton explained the reason for this change and confirmed that META is paying for the construction. Councilwoman George stated that META paid approximately four million dollars for the extension of Gateway Drive and created another needed safety access to the industrial center. Mayor called for the vote. Motion carried with 6 ayes and 0 nays 12. Resolution #R2204-36 Councilwoman George presented this resolution of the City of Gallatin, Tennessee to participate in the Community Development Block Grant program administered by the Greater Nashville Regional Council.
