Ordinance #O2311-57 Appropriating $1,241,000 for the Repurchase of Lot 1, Phase Two, of the Gallatin Industrial Center. Economic Development Agency Director James Fenton presented this ordinance. Ordinance #O2311-58 Approving Purchase and Authorizing Funds in the Amount of $1,650,000.00 from Water/Sewer 2021 Bond Sales for Water Treatment Plant Land Purchase. Ordinance #O2311-59 to Vacate a 40 Foot Right-of-Way Segment on 0.298 (+/-) Acres and 14 Foot Alley Segment on 0.025 (+/-) Acres, Located at 736 North Water Ave in the Douglas Heights Subdivision. City Engineer Nick Tuttle provided a PowerPoint presentation explaining this ordinance. Councilman Jouvence made motion to move to council; Councilman Carter seconded. Motion carried with 7 ayes and 0 nays. 5. Ordinance #O2311-61 Appropriating $1,922,930 U.S. Department of Justice, Office of Community Oriented Policing Services (COPS) FY23 COPS Hiring Program. Ordinance #O2311-62 Rezoning 6.17 (+/-) Acres (Tax Map 137, Parcel 006.11) from the MU-Mixed Use District to the PGC-Planned General Commercial District and Amending the Hidden Creek Preliminary Master Development Plan, Located East of Big Station Camp Boulevard and South of Springdale Lane. SUMMARY: Jillian Ogden, currently Assistant City Planner, has been recommended to be appointed as the Interim Director of the Planning Department. Compensation rate to be a 10% increase over her current rate, as set forth in the Gallatin Municipal Code. R2312-1Ø5 RESOLUTION APPOINTING INTERIM DIRECTOR OF PLANNING AND SETTING COMPENSATION RATE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF GALLATIN, TENNESSEE, that the Mayor has appointed and Council has confirmed Jillian Ogden as Interim Director of Planning and shall receive compensation in compliance with Gallatin Municipal Code Chapter 2, Article II, Div. 2, Section 2-47. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF GALLATIN, TENNESSEE, that Jillian Ogden shall receive compensation at the hourly rate of $45.94/hr, which is an upward adjustment of ten percent (10%) of her base pay, as set forth by Gallatin Municipal Code Sec. 2-47(2). BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF GALLATIN, TENNESSEE, that said compensation shall be effective as of ____________________ and cease when the interim duties are no longer performed as determined by the Mayor or City Council.
