This motion is for budget allocation. Decisions on exact Streetliner designs will take place during future BID Board meetings. Total cost, installed: $10,000. Motion to approve Façade Improvement Grant request from Fred Palacios, owner of Gallup Tinting for the paving of the parking apron in front of Gallup Custom Tinting, Total annual assessment fee paid: $978.60. Total cost of project: $5,000. Reimbursement request: $978.60. Motion to approve request for Holiday Art market support from BID. gallupARTS is willing to hold a Holiday Art market at the Event Center on Sunday December 12th. (The Event Center is already booked for Saturday, December 11th). Attached is the budget for the event. Total budget: $2745 total, includes organizing the artists for the event, and advertising. Ads will include BID as co-sponsor. Event sponsorship request: $2745. November 13 – Downtown Gallup Arts Crawl event November 15 – With Sherman McCorkle and Randy Wilson, presented and discussed TRC Bill at meeting of Science, Technology and Telecommunications Committee in Santa Fe November 17 – Meeting in Albuquerque with Erin Muffoletto, Manager, External Affairs, Comcast November 17 - NDC training session for REDP - commercial building re-development finance training session with Sheldon Bartel: attracting debt and equity to a redevelopment project. November 18 – BID Board meeting cancelled due to lack of a quorum. Next meeting scheduled for December 16, 2021 November 19 – GEDA meeting in McKinley County conference room - Discussion of 2022 Legislative session funding requests. November 22 – New Mexico Economic Development Department webinar to present the report and recommendations from SRI, a consulting firm hired by NM to create a 20 year Economic Development Plan. November 23 – Virtual meeting with Sherman McCorkle and Senator Padilla – follow up to the November 15 presentation to STTC in Santa Fe. December 1 - NDC training session for REDP - commercial building re-development finance training session with Sheldon Bartel: attracting debt and equity to a redevelopment project, with emphasis on “Opportunity Zone” program. December 6 – Written and verbal discussion with A. Abeita, M. Ustick, L. Garcia, M. Schaff, F. Polachak, L. Bonaguidi, A. Biava and S. Bartel, NDC, to schedule economic development work session with City Council for March 8th. December 8 - NDC training session for REDP: commercial building re-development finance training session with Sheldon Bartel - emphasis on securing necessary infrastructure installation for industrial development projects.
