Discussion items: A motion to Memorialize the number of members on the Gallup BID Board of Directors was discussed. This will be a voting item on the agenda for the regular BID Board meeting to be held in January 2025 Lexington Hotel status - update by City of Gallup: no change in status Former Lowe’s Plaza property - update by City of Gallup: F. Chiapetti stated that DiPauli Engineering had informed City of Gallup that there has been no further movement of the retaining wall since the building condemnation order was issued. Discussions concerning possible remedies are ongoing. Lighted Streetliner project - update by F Bee: waiting to receive the engineering drawings by DiPauli Engineering Coal Avenue Commons 2024 - COG, which received NADO an award for excellence, based on the Coal Avenue Commons Project, is very interested in moving ahead with planning for the next phase of Coal Avenue Commons, i.e. extending the event street one block east of 1st Street along Coal Avenue and one block west of 3d Street along Coal Avenue. gallupARTS and Gallup Main Street Arts & Cultural District may also wish to proceed with this project. Gallup Metropolitan Redevelopment Plan (MRA) and BID Downtown Development concepts & renderings: Gallup BID should move ahead with these concepts, which previously been approved by Gallup City Council and Gallup BID Board of Directors. F. Chiapettti said that City of Gallup also wants to have these projects come to fruition. BID District emergency notification system - F. Bee exploring the feasibility of a system. Coffee With the Director - informational monthly meetings will be held in the El Morro Event Center Annual BID presentation to Council will take place at a Council meeting in January 2025. Economic Development I-40 Corridor Study Gallup Master Plan Route 66 parking issues and NM DOT Safety Plan With Sherman McCorkle, presented TRC funding request to NM Legislature STTC Committee Meetings with owners of 201 W. Rt 66. Second examination of building with structural engineer Bill Druc and third with architect Tina Reames,. Tina Reames walk-through of Sammy C’s Sports Bar and Pub Indian Jewelry Supply building on East Coal Avenue status update - transfer of building to UNM Foundation delayed by protest of neighboring property owner. 7.
