PRESENTATION: Citizens Assisting in Police Services (CAPS) – Police Department. D. PUBLIC COMMENT: - Under Government Code Section 54954.3, members of the public may address the council on non-agenda items. Speakers may address council on any agenda item during consideration of the item. E. INFORMATION/CONSENT CALENDAR: - It is recommended that Items 1 through 7 be acted on simultaneously unless separate discussion and/or action are requested by a council member. 1. SUBJECT: Minutes of the special and regular meetings of November 19, 2013. RECOMMENDED ACTION: Accept the minutes as submitted. 2. SUBJECT: City of Galt Warrants. RECOMMENDED ACTION: Approve the warrants as submitted. 3. SUBJECT: Treasurer's Report for period ending October, 2013. RECOMMENDED ACTION: Accept the treasurer's report as submitted. 4. SUBJECT: Galt Market winter fee adjustment. RECOMMENDED ACTION: Adopt a resolution adjusting rental fees at the Galt Market for January and February of 2014. 5. SUBJECT: Appropriation of funds for replacement of the library air conditioner condenser unit. RECOMMENDED ACTION: Approve a special budget appropriation in the amount of $9,000 for replacement of the air conditioner condenser unit at the Marion O. Lawrence Library. 6. SUBJECT: Approval of Amendment No. 2 to the agreement with Raney Planning & Management, Inc. for the Regional Law Enforcement Training Center. RECOMMENDED ACTION: Adopt a resolution authorizing the City Manager to execute Amendment No. 2 to the agreement with Raney Planning & Management, Inc., in the amount of $17,773.98 for the Regional Law Enforcement Training Center and further approving an additional 10% contingency. 7. SUBJECT: Ordinance No. 2013-06 amending Chapter 15.28 of the Galt Municipal Code (Fire Code) to include adoption, by reference, of the 2013 California Fire Code, based on the 2012 Edition of the International Fire Code, with Errata, published by the International Code Council and the whole 2012 Edition of the International Fire Code, including the appendices thereof, for the purpose of prescribing regulations governing conditions hazardous to life and property from fire or explosion, save and except such portions as are hereinafter added, deleted, modified or amended. RECOMMENDED ACTION: Adopt Ordinance No. 2013-06 amending Chapter 15.28 of the Galt Municipal Code (Fire Code) to include adoption, by reference, of the 2013 California Fire Code, based on the 2012 Edition of the International Fire Code, with Errata, published by the International Code Council and the whole 2012 Edition of the International Fire Code, including the appendices thereof, for the purpose of prescribing regulations governing conditions hazardous to life and property from fire or explosion, save and except such portions as are hereinafter added, deleted, modified or amended.
