Speakers may address commission on any agenda item during consideration of the item. Please come to the podium and limit your comments to three (3) minutes. D. PRESENTATIONS: E. REGULAR BUSINESS: 1. Icebreaker Information Item Mentor Harris will facilitate the icebreaker. 2. City Clerk Introduction Information Item Galt City Clerk will share the roles and responsibilities of the clerk's office to the commission. 3. Budget Report Information Item Galt City Clerk will present the budget/balance overview and what the usual expenses of the GYC include. 4. Commissioner Responsibilities Information Item Council member Farmer will discuss the purpose and importance of the GYC ordinance, bylaws, and Brown Act. 5. Making a Motion Information Item Council member Farmer will discuss the basics of making a motion & Roseburg's Rules of Order. 6. Approval of Minutes for May 18, 2026 Action Item Recommendation: Approve the minutes. 7. Overview of the GYC Officer Positions Information Item Mentor Goerzen will go over the positions, their jobs, and commitments. 8. GYC Polo's/T-shirts Action Item Request additional funding for apparel. 9. Rescheduling summer retreat Informational Item Discuss new date for summer retreat 10. American Legion & National Night-Out Information Item Mentor Goerzen will discuss logistics. 11. September scheduled Meeting Action Item Discuss moving September meeting since it lands on a holiday and City Hall is closed. Motion for Approval to move Meeting to the following Monday 9/14 as a Special Meeting. 12. City Council Update Information Item Council member Farmer will update commissioners on City concerns. 13. Around the Horn Informational Item Commissioners may share community updates and gratitude.
