MEASURE R OVERSIGHT COMMITTEE MEETING
MINUTES
ANTHONY PESCETTI COMMUNITY ROOM
455 INDUSTRIAL DRIVE, GALT, CALIFORNIA
Wednesday, July 24, 2019, 6:00 PM
Chair Cortez called the meeting to order at 6:01pm.
The roll call found Cortez, Shelton, Martin and Talamantes present. Amos absent.
We saluted the American Flag.
Old Business:
The minutes of the last meeting, April 24, 2019, were presented. Talamantes
moved and Martin seconded to approve the minutes. The motion carried on a
vote of 4-0.
New Business:
The City of Galt’s Finance Director, Claire Tyson, with the assistance of Matt Boring,
Accounting Manager, presented the unaudited 4th quarter FY2018/2019 financial reports
followed by the FY 2019/2020 revised budget.
The Committee asked clarifying questions, and information was provided and explained.
The report was accepted.

will continue as a joint meeting of the Galt City Council and the Measure R Oversight Committee
until such time as a quorum of the Council is no longer present.
The Measure R Oversight Committee will be meeting in regular session on July 24, 2019,
at 6:00 pm. or shortly thereafter, to discuss the following items:
A. CALL MEETING TO ORDER; FLAG SALUTE
B. ROLL CALL: Cortez, Shelton, Talamantes, Martin and Amos.
C. OLD BUSINESS: Minutes-Regular Session April 24, 2019
Recommended Action: Approve the minutes as presented
D. NEW BUSINESS:
1. 2018/2019 Quarterly Report
Recommended Action: Review the report
2. 2019/2020 Approved Budget
Recommended Action: Review
E. ORAL COMMUNICATIONS: Under Government Code Section 54954.3,
members of the audience may address the Committee on any item of interest
to the public or on any agenda item before or during the Committee's
consideration of the item.
