MEASURE R OVERSIGHT COMMITTEE MEETING
MINUTES
ANTHONY PESCETTI COMMUNITY ROOM

Wednesday, July 27, 2022, 6:00 PM
Chief Kalinowski called the meeting to order at 6:00pm.
The roll call found Schamber, Clendenin, and Connick present with Cooley and
Talamantes absent. Talamantes arrived at 6:06 pm.
We saluted the American Flag.
Old Business:
The minutes of the last meeting, April 27, 2022, were presented. Connick
moved and Clendenin seconded to approve the minutes. The motion carried on a
vote of 3-0.
New Business:
The preliminary 4th quarter report was presented by Finance Director Boring and reviewed
by the committee. Since these were not final numbers, this was information only.
It should be noted the agenda showed quarter 3 and not quarter 4 for review.
Chief Kalinowski provided a brief review of items approved in Measure R for this fiscal year
by the City Council.

Comments by Committee:
Committee member Clendenin expressed interest in National Night Out.
Next Meeting:
Scheduled for October 26, 2022 at 6:00 pm, in the PD Community Room.

will continue as a joint meeting of the Galt City Council and the Measure R Oversight Committee
until such time as a quorum of the Council is no longer present.
The Measure R Oversight Committee will be meeting is on July 27, at 6:00 pm. or shortly
thereafter, to discuss the following items:

B. ROLL CALL: Cooley, Talamantes, Schamber, Clendin, Connick
C. OLD BUSINESS: Minutes- Last Meeting
Recommended Action: Approve the minutes as presented
D. NEW BUSINESS:
1. Annual Measure R report/presentation to Committee
2. Quarter 3 Overview Measure R Report
3. Program /Budget Request
E. ORAL COMMUNICATIONS: Under Government Code Section 54954.3,
members of the audience may address the Committee on any item of interest
to the public or on any agenda item before or during the Committee's
consideration of the item.
