MEASURE R OVERSIGHT COMMITTEE MEETING
MINUTES
ANTHONY PESCETTI COMMUNITY ROOM
455 INDUSTRIAL DRIVE, GALT, CALIFORNIA
Wednesday, April 26, 2023, 6:00 PM
This meeting was held in the Mathews Conference Room, because of a special event
being held in the Anthony Pescetti Community Room.
Chief Kalinowski called the meeting to order at 6:00pm.
The roll call found Nelson, Clendenin, and Brossman present with Talamantes and
Cooley absent.
We saluted the American Flag.
Old Business:
The minutes of the last meeting, July 27, 2022, were presented.
Brossman moved and Clendenin seconded to approve the minutes.
The motion carried on a vote of 3-0.
New Business:
The 2022/2023 1st, 2nd and 3rd Quarter Overview Reports were presented by Finance
Director Boring and reviewed by the committee. Also, the 2022 Measure R Annual Report
was presented by Finance Director Boring and reviewed by the committee.
Clendenin moved and Brossman seconded to approve the reports.
The motion carried on a vote of 3-0.
Oral Communications:
Chief spoke about upcoming purchases for the Police Department.
Brossman had questions regarding the reports.
Comments by Committee:
Committee member Clendenin expressed concern regarding recent mail theft in Galt.
Next Meeting:
Scheduled for July 26, 2023 at 6:00 pm, in the PD Community Room.
Adjournment: 6:40 pm.
