CITY OF GALT MEASURE R OVERSIGHT COMMITTEE MEETING SPECIAL MEETING MINUTES ANTHONY PESCETTI COMMUNITY ROOM 455 INDUSTRIAL DRIVE, GALT, CALIFORNIA Wednesday, April 24, 2024, 6:30 PM This meeting was held in the Anthony Pescetti Community Room. A. CALL MEETING TO ORDER AND FLAG SALUTE: Chair Harvey called the meeting to order at 6:30 pm and led flag salute. B. ROLL CALL: 1. Committee Members Present: Chair Harvey, Vice Chair Mooney, Brossman, Clendenin, Nelson. 2. Committee Members Absent: None C. ACCEPTANCE OF MINUTES: 1. The Minutes of the last meeting held on January 24, 2024, were presented. Motion made by Vice Chair Mooney to approve Minutes. Second made by Chair Harvey. The motion carried on a vote of 5-0. D. NEW BUSINESS: 1. 2023/2024 Measure R 3rd Quarter Financial Report – Overview 2. 2023/2024 Measure R 3rd Quarter Financial Report – Quarterly 3. 2023/2024 Measure R 3rd Quarter Financial Report – Monthly 4. 2023/2024 Measure R Annual Report The reports were presented by Chief Kalinowski and reviewed by the Committee. A discussion followed. Motion to approve made by Chair Harvey Second made by Nelson. The motion carried on a vote of 5-0. E. PRESENTATION: None F. ORAL COMMUNICATIONS: Mayor Paul Sandhu commented on the financial reports. MEASURE R OVERSIGHT COMMITTEE SPECIAL MEETING OF APRIL 24, 2024 PAGE 2 G. COMMENTS BY COMMITTEE MEMBERS: 1. Brossman asked if the Police Department deploys the radar trailers on a daily Basis. Chief Kalinowski responded by saying the trailers are to be deployed 6 days a week. 2. Short freeway on ramps in the Galt area were discussed. 3. Chair Harvey will present the Measure R 2023/2024 Annual Report to the City Council on June 4th ADJOURNMENT: Chief Kalinowski adjourned the meeting at 7:17 pm.
