AGENDA REGULAR PLANNING COMMISSION MEETING COUNCIL CHAMBERS, 380 CIVIC DRIVE, GALT THURSDAY, MARCH 12, 2020, 6:00 PM NOTE: Speaker Request Sheets are provided inside the Council Chambers. PUBLIC COMMENTS: Under Government Code §54954.3 members of the audience may address the Commission on non-agenda items. Speakers may address the Commission on any agenda item during consideration of the item. Speakers shall restrict their comments to issues that are within the subject matter jurisdiction to the Planning Commission and limit comments to a maximum of three minutes. INFORMATION/CONSENT CALENDAR: A. SUBJECT: Minutes of the February 13, 2020 Regular Meeting. RECOMMENDATION: The Planning Commission approve the minutes of the February 13, 2020 Regular Meeting. 5. PUBLIC HEARING: A. SUBJECT: Cardoso II Subdivision Project RECOMMENDATION: 1. Receive a presentation; and 2. Open public hearing to receive comments; and 3. Upon closing the public hearing, recommend that the City Council approve the resolution approving the Initial Study, Mitigated Negative Declaration, and the Mitigation Monitoring and Reporting Program for the Cardoso II Subdivision Project; and 4. Recommend that the City Council introduce the ordinance approving the proposed rezone for the Cardoso II Subdivision Project; and 5. SCHEDULED MATTERS: A. SUBJECT: Annual 2030 Galt General Plan and Housing Element Progress Report 2019 RECOMMENDATION: Review the Annual 2030 Galt General Plan and Housing Element Progress Report for 2019, and recommend that City Council approve the report. Upon City Council acceptance of the report, it shall be submitted to the Governor’s Office of Planning and Research and Department of Housing and Community Development in accordance with Government Code §65400. 7.
