Public Safety Advisory Committee Meeting

CITY OF GALT PUBLIC SAFETY COMMITTEE MEETING MINUTES ANTHONY PESCETTI COMMUNITY ROOM 455 INDUSTRIAL DRIVE, GALT, CALIFORNIA MONDAY, NOVEMBER 24, 2025, 6:00 PM The meeting was called to order at 6:00 pm by Chair Jessica Selby. Committee Members present were: Chair J. Selby, J. Hubert, K. Sandhu, and Non-Voting Member – Vice Mayor P. Sandhu. Absent: Vice Chair C. Schamber, and G. Sauter Staff Members present were: Police Chief Kalinowski, and Code Compliance Supervisor TJ Guidotti. We pledged allegiance to the American Flag. PUBLIC COMMENT: None. PRESENTATION: 1. City of Galt Noise Ordinance– Presented by Code Compliance Supervisor TJ Guidotti. ITEMS FOR DISCUSSION: 1. Approval of Minutes from July 28, 2025 meeting: Motion to approve by K. Sandhu seconded by J. Hubert Approved with a vote of 3-0. 2. Review of police statistics presented by Chief Kalinowski. 3. Drone Program Update- Chief Kalinowski provided an update on the drones purchased for use related to fireworks enforcement and other activities. 4. Review of E Bike regulations approved by council. Chief Kalinowski reminded the committee of the upcoming holiday open house at the Police Department on December 9, 2025 ADJOURNMENT: With no further business, Vice Chair Selby adjourned the meeting at 6:44 pm.
