MINUTES
SPECIAL CITY COUNCIL MEETING
Council Chambers, 380 Civic Drive, Galt, California
Friday, June 28, 2019
Teleconferencing Location:

The Mayor called the meeting to order at 10:01 am. Council Members present: Farmer, Sandhu, Campion, Lozano
and Lampson. Teleconferencing: Lozano.
Staff members present: Interim City Manager Haglund, Acting City Clerk Hubert, Interim City Attorney Hood and
Public Works Director Selling.
PUBLIC COMMENTS: The City Clerk announced that members of the public could address the City Council on
non-agenda items. She stated no discussion or action could be taken on any item that was not listed on the agenda.
The Clerk advised the location of the speaker cards, asked that speaker cards be presented to the Clerk prior to
addressing City Council and that each person would have a five-minute time limit to speak. She said those who
wished to speak on any item scheduled on the agenda would be given an opportunity to do so at the time that item
was being considered.
ADJOURNED TO CLOSED SESSION:
1. CONFERENCE WITH LEGAL COUNSEL-ANTICIPATED LITIGATION Significant
exposure to litigation pursuant to Government Code Section 54956.9(d) (2) – One potential case.
RECONVENED TO OPEN SESSION: The City Council reconvened to open session at 12:40 pm at which time
the City Attorney announced there was no reportable action.
There being no further business to come before City Council, the Mayor adjourned the meeting at 12:40 pm.

A. CALL MEETING TO ORDER:
Roll Call: Farmer, Sandhu, Campion, Lozano, Lampson
B. PUBLIC COMMENT: - Under Government Code Section 54954.3, members of the public may
address the council on non-agenda items. Speakers may address council on any agenda item during
consideration of the item. Speakers shall restrict their comments to issues that are within the subject
matter jurisdiction of the City Council and limit comments to a maximum of five minutes. Please
fill out a speaker sheet located on the table inside the entrances to the council chambers and forward
the completed speaker sheet to the clerk.
C. ADJOURN TO CLOSED SESSION:
