NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING CITY OF GALVESTON, TEXAS WHARVES AND TERMINAL FIRST LIEN REVENUE BONDS, SERIES 2024 Notice is hereby given of a telephonic public hearing to be held by the City of Galveston, Texas (the “Issuer”) on July 10, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. Central Time. Interested parties may join the public hearing on the date and the time indicated above by dialing +1-855-282-6330 (US Toll Free) and, when prompted, entering the meeting code 2663 381 6750#. The hearing is regarding the issuance of obligations by the Issuer, which may be issued pursuant to a plan of finance in one or more series, in an aggregate principal amount not to exceed $160,000,000 (the “Bonds”). The Bonds will be issued as exempt facility bonds for docks and wharves pursuant to section 142(a)(2) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986, as amended (the “Code”). Proceeds of the Bonds will finance port improvements (collectively, the “Projects”) located at or near 2702 Harborside Drive, Galveston, Texas 77550. The initial owner of the Projects is the Issuer, and the principal user of the Projects is and will be Galveston Wharves, which operates as a utility of the Issuer. All interested persons are invited to express their views with respect to the Projects and the issuance of the Bonds.
