BOARD OF TRUSTEES SEPTEMBER 23, 2024 A special meeting of the Board of Trustees of the Village of Garden City in the County of Nassau, New York, was held at Village Hall, 351 Stewart Avenue in said Village on September 23, 2024 at 6:30 p.m. Present: Mayor Mary Carter Flanagan, Trustees Bruce J. Chester, Judy Courtney, Edward T. Finneran, Michele Beach Harrington, Jessica Tai and Bruce A. Torino. Also Present: Kelly Galanek, Village Clerk Paul Blake, Chairman, Board of Commissioners of Cultural and Recreational Affairs Absent: Trustee Vinny Muldoon Attendance: Approximately 24 in person, 38 on Zoom The Village Clerk reported that due notice of this meeting had been served on each member of the Board. Due notice of the meeting was also transmitted to the Garden City News and posted in the usual conspicuous public locations. Mayor Flanagan called the meeting to order and opened the meeting. 1. Brandstetter Carroll Inc. (“BCI”) gave a presentation on the Village Recreation Survey Results and Analysis to the Board of Trustees, Board of Recreational and Cultural Affairs, Mayor’s Advisory Committee on St. Paul’s and Recreation staff. The public was invited to join via Zoom. 2. Mayor Flanagan requested that Deferred Item: Finance – Deferred Compensation Audit Report from the September 19, 2024 Board of Trustees Regular Meeting be removed from the meeting for further discussion. There being no further business, on motion duly made, the meeting adjourned at 7:35 p.m.
