Bandstand Committee

MEETING MINUTES – BANDSTAND COMMITTEE Thursday, May 18th, 2023 – DPW OFFICE, 50 MANCA DR. Members Present: Nancy Binder; Edward Vipond; Michael Zlotnik; Denise Merriam Donna Russo & Mark Monahan were absent. Call to Order: Mike called the meeting to order at 4:06 p.m. Open meeting recording: Mike asked if anyone was recording the meeting. None Acceptance of minutes: The minutes from 5/4/2023 were accepted. Nancy motioned: Ed second; Correspondence: Nancy will follow up with Retro Stew; Timeless & Remedy for their contracts/ W9 forms Mike will follow up with sponsor Worker’s Credit Union to see if there was an approval Mike will also follow up with Traveling Jones for their W9 form Ed will follow up with Viva Las Elvis to get their W9 form Ed provided a sponsor check from Fitness Concepts Financial Statement: Investigated SESAC Licenses & Renaissance Bench ($2042.50) SESAC was paid out twice. A refund of $553 has been processed but will take about 4-6 weeks to receive in the mail. The Renaissance Bench was taken out of the donation from Victoria Kazinskas. The difference of $442.50 was put back into the bandstand account. Other Business: Mike will be reaching out to Worker’s Credit Union Rotary club is disbanding and will not be participating in sponsoring. Mike will be making updates to Lapointe Law Offices ad; Flyers will be finalized by the 1st of June. Attendance for each bandstand concert was discussed. Will finalize on 5/31/2023 Next meeting scheduled May 31st, 2023 Motion to adjourn by Mike and seconded by Nancy & Denise at 430pm.
