CITY OF GARDNER OFFICE OF THE BOARD OF ASSESSORS 95 Pleasant Street City Hall, Room 229, Gardner MA 01440-2630 Christine Kumar Tel: 978-630-4004 City Assessor Fax: 978 630-4080 Email: ckumar@gardner-ma.gov MEETING MINUTES Date: Tuesday, January 11, 2022 @ 2:00PM, Room 229 In Attendance: Charles LeBlanc – Chairman, Paulette Burns – Member, Christine Kumar – City Assessor and Lauren Stinnett – Administrative Coordinator Meeting convened at 2:05pm Paulette made a motion to accept the minutes from October 26, 2021, as written. Seconded by Christine, 3-0, so voted. The Board reviewed and signed the Warrants and Commitments for RE, PP, Special Assessments and Omitted/Revised FY2022 Actual Taxes. Paulette made a motion to enter Executive Session, under Purpose 7 – “to comply with, or act under authority of, any general law” (G.L. c59 §60), seconded by Christine, 3-0, so voted. To review exemption applications. Paulette made a motion return to open session for the purpose of adjournment at 2:23pm. Chris seconded, 3-0, so voted. Assessor’s Update: FY22 actual tax bills were mailed, and RE and PP abatement applications will be accepted until the deadline of February 1, 2022. A Vision representative began RE data collection on 1/3/2022 and an RRC representative will begin PP data collection on 1/18/2022—as part of our FY23 revaluation. Year-end processes are in the works and the FY22 property record card information should be online for the public by the end of the month. Meeting adjourned at 2:34pm.
