MEETING MINUTES
Date: Tuesday, April 12, 2022 @ 2:00PM, Room 229
In Attendance: Charles LeBlanc – Chairman, Paulette Burns – Member, Christine Kumar –
City Assessor and Lauren Stinnett – Administrative Coordinator
Meeting convened at 2:05pm
Paulette made a motion to accept the minutes from March 15, 2022, as written. Seconded by
Christine, 3-0, so voted.
The Board reviewed and signed the Real Estate, Personal Property and Excise abatement reports
for the month of March, as well as the Commitment and Warrant for the Motor Vehicle Excise
Tax 2022-02.
Assessor’s Update:
• Mailed January and February sales questionnaires to new owners
• Received the approximately 100 property record cards back from Mary Oliver’s field
review and will update those in Vision accordingly
• I am picking away at the vacant parcels—adding a visit to the history (for our cyclicals)
and adding a screenshot of the bird’s eye view to Vision showing it is still vacant
• Also working to add a photo to any parcel (over 1,000) that does not currently have one
in Vision
Paulette made a motion to enter Executive Session, under Purpose 7 – “to comply with, or act
under authority of, any general law” (G.L. c59 §60), seconded by Christine, 3-0, so voted.
To review exemption and abatement applications.
Paulette made a motion return to open session for the purpose of adjournment at 2:25pm. Chris
seconded, 3-0, so voted.
Meeting adjourned at 2:26pm.
