Seconded by Christine, 3-0, so voted. • Commitment to Auditor and Warrants to Treasurer/Collector for FY2024 Real Estate and Personal Property Q3 and Q4 Taxes were reviewed and signed. • Real Estate Posted Abatements Report for personal exemptions (credited through the billing process) was reviewed and signed. • Real Estate Posted Abatements Report for personal exemptions and VIPs participants (abated after the billing process) was reviewed and signed. • December 2023 Motor Vehicle Posted Abatements Report was reviewed and signed. Assessor Update: All Income & Expense forms were printed and mailed (using a firm book mailing through the USPS)—there are 600+. All Forms of List (for personal property accounts) were printed and should be mailed by Friday, January 12th—there are 400+. Since Q3/Q4 bills have been received, the office is busy with phone calls, email and in-person inquiries regarding assessed values and the new tax rate. To date we have received one real estate abatement application. Paulette made a motion at 2:15pm to enter Executive Session, under Purpose 7 – “to comply with, or act under authority of, any general law” (G.L. c59 §60), not to return Open Session upon adjournment. Seconded by Christine, 3-0, so voted. • Reviewed and approved (3) exemption applications: (1) 17D Surviving Spouse, (1) 22E Veteran and (1) 37 Blind • Reviewed and denied (2) exemption applications: (1) 41C/17D Elderly and (1) 37 Blind The meeting adjourned at 2:35pm.
