Any person intending to make such recording shall notify the Chair forthwith. All Documents referenced or used during the meeting must be submitted in duplicate to the Chairman, pursuant to the Open Meeting and Public Records Law. All documents shall become part of the official record of the meeting. AGENDA 1. Review and Approval of the Minutes of the August 20, 2014 Meeting. 2. Processing and counting any late-filed Absentee Ballots and all UOCAVA Ballots (Uniformed and Overseas Citizen Absentee Ballots). 3. Election-related matters. NOTICE: The listing of Agenda items are those reasonably anticipated by the Chairperson which may be discussed at the meeting. MORRILLY Chair  CITY OF GARDNER MASSACHUSETTS 01440-2630 BOARD OF REGISTRARS OF VOTERS Minutes of the Meeting of August 20, 2014 The meeting of the Board of Registrars of Voters was called to order by Chairperson Patricia Darby at 5:00 p.m. in the Mayor’s Conference, Room 128, City Hall. Members present: Chairperson Patricia Darby, Darlene Morrilly, Mario Guay, and Alan Agnelli. The Chair read aloud the following: Any person may make a video or audio recording of the open session of this meeting so long as it does not interfere with the conduct of the meeting. All documents and exhibits used or referenced at this meeting shall be submitted in duplicate to the City Clerk, as they become part of the minutes of the meeting. Is there anyone present who will be recording this meeting? No one in attendance responded. 1. Minutes of Prior Meetings On a motion by Darlene Morrilly, seconded by Mario Guay, it was unanimously voted to accept the Minutes of the November 21, 2013 Meeting, as printed. 2. Board Reorganization Patricia Darby nominated Darlene Morrilly for Chairperson for the 2014-15 Session. Mario Guay seconded the nomination. It was moved and seconded to close nominations. Darlene Morrilly was elected Chairperson and assumed the Chair for the remainder of the meeting. 3. Board Appointments Assistant Registrars Mrs. Darby moved to reappoint Calvin D. Brooks (Republican) and Neil W. Janssens (Democrat) to the positions of Assistant Registars for terms expiring April 1, 2015. Mr. Guay seconded the motion. The motion carried. Temporary Assistant Registrars Mr. Guay moved to reappoint Titi Siriphan and John Olivari, employees of the City Clerk’s Office, to the positions of Temporary Assistant Registrars. Mrs. Darby seconded the motion. The motion carried. 4. 2014 State Election Plans Mr. Agnelli updated the members on State Election plans.
