BOARD OF REGISTRARS OF VOTERS
Minutes of the Meeting of August 2, 2017
The meeting of the Board of Registrars of Voters was called to order by Chairman Patricia Darby
at 8:00 a.m. in the Mayor’s Conference, Room 128, City Hall.
Present: Registrars Patricia Darby, Mario Guay, Darlene Morrilly, and Alan Agnelli.
The Chair read aloud the following:
Any person may make a video or audio recording of the open session of this meeting so long as it does not interfere
with the conduct of the meeting. All documents and exhibits used or referenced at this meeting shall be submitted in
duplicate to the City Clerk, as they become part of the minutes of the meeting. Is there anyone present who will be
recording this meeting?
No one in attendance responded.
1. Minutes of Prior Meetings
On a motion by Darlene Morrilly and seconded by Mario Guay, it was voted to accept
the Minutes of the November 8, 2016 Meeting, as printed.
2. Board Reorganization
nominated Mrs. Darby for Chair for the 2016-17 Session. Mr. Agnelli seconded the
nomination. It was moved and seconded to close nominations. Patricia Darby was
elected and assumed the Chair for the remainder of the meeting.
3. Board Appointments
Assistant Registrars
Mrs. Darby moved to reappoint Calvin D. Brooks (Republican) and Neil W. Janssens
(Democrat) to the positions of Assistant Registars for terms expiring April 1, 2018. Mr.
Guay seconded the motion. The motion carried.
Temporary Assistant Registrars
Mr. Guay moved to reappoint Titi Siriphan and John Olivari, employees of the City
Clerk’s Office, to the positions of Temporary Assistant Registrars. Mrs. Darby seconded
the motion. The motion carried.
On a motion by and seconded by Mr. Guay, it was voted to adjourn at 8:50 a.m.

ANNOUNCEMENT - Any person may make a video or audio recording of an open session of a meeting, or may transmit the meeting
through any medium, subject to reasonable requirements of the chair as to the number, placement and operation of equipment used so as not
to interfere with the conduct of the meeting. Any person intending to make such recording shall notify the Chair forthwith. All Documents
referenced or used during the meeting must be submitted in duplicate to the Chairman, pursuant to the Open Meeting and Public Records
Law. All documents shall become part of the official record of the meeting.
