CITY OF GARDNER, MASSACHUSETTS CITY COUNCIL PUBLIC SAFETY COMMITTEE MINUTES OF THE MEETING OF FEBRUARY 5, 2024 _____________________________________________________________________________________ Committee Chair Councillor Craig Cormier called the Public Safety Committee meeting to order at 7:15 p.m. in the Council Chamber, Room 219, City Hall. Committee member Councillors Karen Hardern and Dana Heath were also present. Also present was Building Commissioner Thomas Zuppa; and City Clerk Titi Siriphan. #11116 – Application for Motor Vehicle Dealers Licenses, Class II., Gardner Five Star Auto Sales, 407 Chestnut Street Councillor Craig Cormier mentioned that they received additional information. Building Commissioner Thomas Zuppa mentioned that are specific zoning documentation they are looking for regarding the parking and site plans. This application was lacking specific detail. His recommendation later stated to approve the application with a contingency that the applicant submit the missing documentation within a time frame. On a motion made by Councillor Dana Heath, seconded by Councillor Karen Hardern, it was voted to recommend to the City Council to approve the Class II application. 3 yeas, motion passes. # 11179 – Application for Motor Vehicle Dealers Licenses, Class II, Gardner Motors, LLC, 119 Pearson Blvd. On a motion made by Councillor Dana Heath, seconded by Councillor Karen Hardern, it was voted to recommend to the City Council to approve the Class II application. 3 yeas, motion passes. Adjournment On a motion Councillor Paul Tassone, and seconded by Councillor Karen Hardern, it was voted viva voce to adjourn at 7:25 p.m. Page 1
