COUNCIL CAUCUS MEETING MINUTES CITY OF GARFIELD HEIGHTS, OHIO Monday, September 23, 2019 Council President Matt Burke called the Caucus Meeting to order at 6:30 p.m. Members Present: Matt Burke, Councilman Ward 6 Michael Dudley, Sr., Councilman Ward 1 Gene Glenn, Councilman Ward 4 Michael Nenadovich, Councilman Ward 3 Joseph Suster, Councilman Ward 5 Tom Vaughn, Councilman Ward 7 Member Absent: Joseph LaMalfa, Councilman Ward 2 Clmn Glenn would offer the invocation and lead the Pledge of Allegiance. Clmn Suster moved to excuse Clmn LaMalfa from the Caucus Meeting and Clmn Vaughn seconded. His motion stood approved by 6 Yes (Suster, Burke, Vaughn, Dudley, Nenadovich, Glenn) and 1 Absent (LaMalfa) vote. Clmn Nenadovich moved to accept the Minutes of the Caucus Meeting for September 9, 2019 as written. The Minutes stood approved by 5 Yeas (Nenadovich, Glenn, Suster, Burke, Vaughn), 1 Present (Dudley) and 1 Absent (LaMalfa) votes. Clmn Suster would dispose of the Minutes of the Regular Council Meeting of September 9, 2019. There were no written communications to Council. ORDINANCE NO. 47-2019 Clmn Vaughn advised that he would move to consider by title. RESOLUTION NO. 18-2019 Clmn Nenadovich advised that he would move to consider by title. Chairman Burke announced that the Mayor would swear in a new Police Officer during the Council Meeting. Clmn Nenadovich moved to adjourn the Caucus Meeting, Clmn Suster seconded and the motion was approved by 6 Yes (Nenadovich, Glenn, Suster, Burke, Vaughn, Dudley) and 1 Absent (LaMalfa) votes.
