COUNCIL CAUCUS MEETING MINUTES CITY OF GARFIELD HEIGHTS, OHIO Monday, March 8, 2021 (Note: This meeting was conducted via Zoom due to the current Covid-19 outbreak.) Council President Michael Nenadovich called the Caucus Meeting to order at 6:30 p.m. Members Present: Jason Blake, Councilman Ward 5 Shayla L. Davis, Councilwoman Ward 4 Charles Donahue, Councilman Ward 2 Michael Dudley, Sr., Councilman Ward 1 Michael Nenadovich, Councilman Ward 3 Frank Tagliarini, Councilman Ward 6 Thomas Vaughn, Councilman Ward 7 President Nenadovich said the record should show that all of Council was present. President Nenadovich then moved to accept the Caucus Meeting Minutes for Monday, February 22, 2021. Clmn Vaughn seconded. AYES: (Nenadovich, Davis, Blake, Tagliarini, Vaughn, Dudley, Donahue). The motion was accepted 7-0. ORDINANCE NO. 21-2021 President Nenadovich advised that he would move to consider by title. ORDINANCE NO. 22-2021 President Nenadovich advised that he would move to consider by title. ORDINANCE NO. 23-2021 President Nenadovich advised that he would move to consider by title. ORDINANCE NO. 24-2021 President Nenadovich advised that he would move to consider by title. Clmn Dudley commented that he could not vote on the piece because he was a Cleveland Clinic Marymount trustee and would recuse himself. The Chair advised him to bring it up at the time of voting. ORDINANCE NO. 25-2021 President Nenadovich advised that he would move to consider by title. ORDINANCE NO. 26-2021 President Nenadovich advised that he would move to consider by title. RESOLUTION 11-2021 President Nenadovich advised that he would move to consider by title. RESOLUTION 12-2021 President Nenadovich advised that he would move to consider by title. President Nenadovich announced that he would move to add the election of the Council President Pro Tem to the agenda. Council debated whether or not to have three letters from residents (Ms. Bolton, Ms. Jones and Mrs. Leonard) read on Council floor. They determined to have them all read. Clwn Davis requested that council packets be delivered earlier and that Council be given proposed legislation two weeks ahead of time to look over. 1 Clmn Blake would move to have Ms. King read her report. There was a general discussion as to the pros and cons of leaving Council packets at the police station, at the Civic Center or delivering them to Council Members’ homes. Clmn Vaughn moved to adjourn the Caucus Meeting and Chairman Nenadovich seconded. AYES: (Vaughn, Dudley, Donahue, Nenadovich, Davis, Blake, Tagliarini). The motion stood approved 7-0.
