AGENDA ITEM CALL TO ORDER RECESS SPECIAL MEETING AND RECONVENE IN EXECUTIVE SESSION Pursuant to: a) A.R.S. §38-431.03(A)(3)&(4) for discussion or consultation with Town Attorney and Special Counsel in order to consider its position and instruct attorneys regarding a contemplated settlement of litigation in Town of Gilbert v. Torres/LMT Investments LLC (Maricopa Superior Court No. CV2012-007164); b) A.R.S. §38-431.03(A)(3)&(4) for discussion or consultation with Town Attorney and Special Counsel in order to consider its position and instruct it attorneys regarding a contemplated settlement of litigation in Subterranean Construction v. Gilbert (Maricopa County Superior Court case No. CV2012-008664); c) A.R.S. §38-431.03(A)(3)&(4) for discussion and consultation for legal advice with the Town Attorney regarding Reed v. Town of Gilbert, U.S. Supreme Court Case 13-502; d) A.R.S. §38-431.03(A)(3)&(4) for discussion and consultation for legal advice with the Town Attorney regarding the procedure to be followed during the appeal of a finding of license fee deficiencies filed by Cox Communications to be heard by the Gilbert Town Council at the October 30, 2014 Special Meeting of the Council; and e) A.R.S. §38-431.03(A)(3)&(4) for discussion and legal advice with Town Attorney regarding ambulance services within the Town, consortium of East Valley Cities, and Rural Metro. ADJOURN EXECUTIVE SESSION AND RECONVENE SPECIAL MEETING ADJOURN NOTICE TO PARENTS: Parents and legal guardians have the right to consent before the Town of Gilbert makes a video or voice recording of a minor child. A.R.S. 1-602.A.9. Gilbert Council Meetings are recorded and maybe viewed on Channel 11 and the Gilbert website. If you permit your child to participate in the Council Meeting, a recording will be made. If your child is seated in the audience your child may be recorded, but you may request that your child be seated in a designated area to avoid recording. Please submit your request to the Town Clerk.
