Sec. 38-431.03(A)(3)&(4) for discussion and consultation for legal advice with the Town Attorney regarding the decision and impact of Reed v. Town of Gilbert, U.S. Supreme Court Case No. 13-502. This Addendum deleted the origninal Item b and added this Item b. AGENDA ITEM CALL TO ORDER RECESS SPECIAL MEETING AND RECONVENE IN EXECUTIVE SESSION Pursuant to: a) A.R.S. Sec. 38-431.03(A)(3) & (4) for discussion and consultation for legal advice with the Town Attorney and Special Counsel regarding the Town of Gilbert v. M.A. Mortenson Co. (Maricopa Superior Court Case No. CV2013-092379) litigation, settlement discussions, and possible settlement, as well as Elliot District Park and its construction and maintenance; and b) A.R.S. Sec. 38-431.03(A)(3) & (4) for discussion and consultation for legal advice with Town Attorney regarding the Town’s negotiations with Rural Metro (Southwest Ambulance) and AMR for the provision of ambulance services within the Town. ADJOURN EXECUTIVE SESSION AND RECONVENE SPECIAL MEETING ADMINISTRATIVE ITEMS 1. HUMAN RESOURCES – discussion and direction on process for recruitment, interview and/or selection of the Town Clerk. ADJOURN NOTICE TO PARENTS: Parents and legal guardians have the right to consent before the Town of Gilbert makes a video or voice recording of a minor child. A.R.S. 1-602.A.9. Gilbert Council Meetings are recorded and maybe viewed on Channel 11 and the Gilbert website. If you permit your child to participate in the Council Meeting, a recording will be made.
