MINUTES OF THE GILBERT TOWN COUNCIL IN A SPECIAL MEETING OF TUESDAY JULY 17,
2018 AT 5:30 PM, MUNICIPAL CENTER 1, COUNCIL CHAMBERS, 50 E CIVIC CENTER DRIVE,
GILBERT, ARIZONA
COUNCIL PRESENT: Mayor Jenn Daniels, Vice Mayor Victor Petersen,
Councilmembers Scott Anderson, Eddie Cook, Brigette
Peterson, Jordan Ray and Jared Taylor
COUNCIL ABSENT: None
STAFF PRESENT: Manager Patrick Banger, Clerk Lisa Maxwell, Town Attorney

CALL TO ORDER
Mayor Jenn Daniels called the meeting to order at 5:30 p.m.
ROLL CALL
Town Clerk Lisa Maxwell called roll and declared a quorum present.
CONSENT CALENDAR
1. AGREEMENT – consider approval of License Agreement No. 319000478 with Chandler
Unified School District (CUSD) for the use of 4.25 acres west of the South Area Service
Center (SASC) for a temporary bus lot for a period of July 18, 2018 through June 15, 2019
in exchange for payment to the Town of $1 and CUSD will reimburse the Town $41,010.60
for all site preparation work and $1,500 for the initial striping of the bus lot and authorize
the Mayor to execute the required documents.
A MOTION was made by Councilmember Jordan Ray, seconded by Councilmember Victor
Petersen, to approve item 1. Motion carried 7-0.
ADJOURN
Mayor Jenn Daniels adjourned the meeting at 5:31 p.m.

NOTICE TO PARENTS: Parents and legal guardians have the right to consent before the
Town of Gilbert makes a video or voice recording of a minor child. A.R.S. 1-602.A.9. Gilbert
Council Meetings are recorded and maybe viewed on Channel 11 and the Gilbert website.
If you permit your child to participate in the Council Meeting, a recording will be made. If
your child is seated in the audience your child may be recorded, but you may request that
your child be seated in a designated area to avoid recording. Please submit your request to
the Town Clerk.
