MINUTES OF THE GILBERT TOWN COUNCIL, IN SPECIAL MEETING OF THURSDAY, FEBRUARY 28, 2019 AT 7:30 AM, SOUTHEAST REGIONAL LIBRARY, 775 N. GREENFIELD ROAD, GILBERT, ARIZONA COUNCIL PRESENT: Mayor Jenn Daniels, Vice Mayor Eddie Cook, Councilmembers Scott Anderson, Brigette Peterson, Jordan Ray, Jared Taylor, and Aimee Yentes COUNCIL ABSENT: None STAFF PRESENT: Town Manager Patrick Banger, Town Clerk Lisa Maxwell, Town Attorney Christopher Payne AGENDA ITEM CALL TO ORDER Mayor Daniels called the meeting to order at 7:46 a.m. ADMINISTRATIVE ITEMS 1. HUMAN RESOURCES - consider appointment of an Interim Presiding Judge for the Gilbert Municipal Court effective February 25, 2019. Mayor Daniels stated the previous appointee was unable to accept the appointment due to a family emergency. A MOTION was made by Vice Mayor Cook, seconded by Councilmember Ray, to appoint James Scorza as Interim Presiding Judge for the Gilbert Municipal Court effective March 5, 2019.
