MINUTES OF THE GILBERT TOWN COUNCIL, IN SPECIAL MEETING OF MONDAY, MAY 11, 2020 AT 3:00 PM, MUNICIPAL CENTER 1, ROOM 233, 50 E CIVIC CENTER DRIVE, GILBERT, ARIZONA COUNCIL PRESENT: Mayor Jenn Daniels, Vice Mayor Scott Anderson, Councilmembers Yung Koprowski, Scott September, Bill Spence, Jared Taylor, and Aimee Yentes COUNCIL ABSENT: None STAFF PRESENT: Town Manager Patrick Banger, Town Clerk Lisa Maxwell, Town Attorney Christopher Payne and Presiding Judge David Crutchen AGENDA ITEM CALL TO ORDER Mayor Daniels called the meeting to order at 3:08 p.m. RECESS SPECIAL MEETING AND RECONVENE IN EXECUTIVE SESSION A MOTION was made by Councilmember September, seconded by Vice Mayor Anderson, to recess to Executive Session pursuant to A.R.S. §38-431.03(A)(1) to conduct employment evaluation and discuss assignments of Town Manager Patrick Banger, Presiding Judge David Cutchen, Town Clerk Lisa Maxwell, and Town Attorney Christopher Payne. Motion carried 7-0. ADJOURN EXECUTIVE SESSION AND RECONVENE SPECIAL MEETING Mayor Jenn Daniels reconvened the meeting at 5:52 p.m. A MOTION was made by Councilmember Taylor, seconded by Councilmember September, to adjourn the meeting. Motion carried 7-0.
