MINUTES OF THE GILBERT TOWN COUNCIL, IN SPECIAL MEETING OF TUESDAY, JUNE 01, 2021 AT 4:45 PM, MUNICIPAL CENTER I, ROOM 300, 50 E CIVIC CENTER DRIVE, GILBERT, ARIZONA COUNCIL PRESENT: Mayor Brigette Peterson, Vice Mayor Yung Koprowski, Councilmembers Scott Anderson, Laurin Hendrix, Scott September, Kathy Tilque, and Aimee Yentes COUNCIL ABSENT: None STAFF PRESENT: Presiding Judge David Cutchen AGENDA ITEM CALL TO ORDER Mayor Peterson called the meeting to order at 4:55 p.m. RECESS SPECIAL MEETING AND RECONVENE IN EXECUTIVE SESSION A MOTION was made by Councilmember Yentes, seconded by Councilmember Tilque, to recess to Executive Session pursuant to: A.R.S. §38-431.03(A)(1) to conduct employment evaluation and discuss assignments of Presiding Judge David Cutchen. Motion carried 6-0; Councilmember September was absent at time of vote. ADJOURN EXECUTIVE SESSION AND RECONVENE SPECIAL MEETING Mayor Peterson reconvened the meeting at 5:21 p.m. A MOTION was made by Councilmember Tilque, seconded by Councilmember Yentes, to adjourn the meeting. Motion carried 7-0.
