MINUTES OF THE GILBERT TOWN COUNCIL, IN SPECIAL MEETING OF TUESDAY APRIL 18, 2023 AT 4:15 PM, MUNICIPAL CENTER I, COMMUNITY ROOM 202, 50 E. CIVIC CENTER DRIVE, GILBERT, ARIZONA COUNCIL PRESENT: Mayor Brigette Peterson, Vice Mayor Kathy Tilque, Councilmembers Scott Anderson (attended at 4:18 p.m.), Chuck Bongiovanni, Bobbi Buchli, Yung Koprowski, and Jim Torgeson COUNCIL ABSENT: None STAFF PRESENT: Town Manager Patrick Banger, Town Clerk Chaveli Herrera, Town Attorney Christopher Payne AGENDA ITEM CALL TO ORDER Mayor Peterson called the meeting to order at 4:16 p.m. ROLL CALL Town Clerk Herrera declared a quorum present. RECESS SPECIAL MEETING AND RECONVENE IN EXECUTIVE SESSION A MOTION was made by Vice Mayor Tilque, seconded by Councilmember Koprowski, to recess the Special Meeting and reconvene in Executive Session pursuant to A.R.S. § 38-431.03(A)(3), legal advice from the Town Attorney concerning zoning approval conditions. 1 Motion carried 7-0, with Councilmember Anderson not present for the vote. ADJOURN EXECUTIVE SESSION AND RECONVENE SPECIAL MEETING A MOTION was made by Councilmember Koprowski, seconded by Vice Mayor Tilque, to adjourn the Executive Session and reconvene the Special Meeting. Motion carried 7-0.
