MINUTES OF THE GILBERT COUNCIL SUBCOMMITTEE ON BOARD AND COMMISSION APPLICATION SCREENING, INTERVIEW, AND SELECTION IN SPECIAL MEETING, MARCH 29, 2022 AT 5:00 P.M., ROOM 108, 6860 S. POWER ROAD, GILBERT, ARIZONA COUNCIL PRESENT: Mayor Brigette Peterson; Vice Mayor Aimee Yentes; Councilmembers Scott Anderson, Laurin Hendrix, Yung Koprowski, Scott September, and Kathy Tilque COUNCIL ABSENT: None CALL TO ORDER OF SPECIAL MEETING Mayor Peterson called the meeting to order at 5:01 p.m. RECESS SPECIAL MEETING AND RECONVENE IN EXECUTIVE SESSION A MOTION was made by Councilmember Koprowski, seconded by Councilmember September, to recess the Special Meeting and reconvene in Executive Session pursuant to A.R.S. §38-431.03(A)(1) to: a) interview and consider applicants Brian Cannon, Florence Daniels, Whitney Pitt, and Blake Sacha the Parks and Recreation Board; b) interview and consider applicants Adam Baugh and Georgina Starkey for the Redevelopment Commission; and c) discuss and consider applicants Patrick Finerd, Constance Lemere, and Debra Stapleton for the Self-Insured Trust Board. ADJOURN EXECUTIVE SESSION AND CONVENE SPECIAL MEETING The Special Meeting was reconvened at 5:57 p.m. ADJOURNMENT A MOTION was made by Councilmember Anderson, seconded by Councilmember Tilque, to adjourn the Special meeting.
