MINUTES OF THE GILBERT COUNCIL SUBCOMMITTEE ON BOARD AND COMMISSION APPLICATION SCREENING, INTERVIEW, AND SELECTION IN SPECIAL MEETING, JANUARY 22, 2024, AT 5:00 P.M., MUNICIPAL CENTER I, COMMUNITY ROOM 202, 50 E. CIVIC CENTER DRIVE, GILBERT, ARIZONA COUNCIL PRESENT: Mayor Brigette Peterson; Vice Mayor Scott Anderson; Councilmembers Chuck Bongiovanni, Bobbi Buchli, Yung Koprowski, Kathy Tilque and Jim Torgeson COUNCIL ABSENT: None CALL TO ORDER OF SPECIAL MEETING Mayor Peterson called the meeting to order at 5:00 p.m. RECESS OF SPECIAL MEETING AND RECONVENE IN EXECUTIVE SESSION A MOTION was made by Vice Mayor Anderson, seconded by Councilmember Buchli, to recess the Special Meeting and reconvene in Executive Session pursuant to A.R.S. §38-431.03(A)(1) to: a) interview and consider applicants Jacob Burggraff and Jeremy Macdonald for the Public Facilities Municipal Property Corporation; and b) interview and consider applicants James Graham, Nicholas Macaluso, Nelsen Michaelson and Chris Peterson for the Water Resources Municipal Property Corporation. Motion carried 7-0; Councilmember Bongiovanni left at 5:23 p.m. ADJOURN EXECUTIVE SESSION AND CONVENE SPECIAL MEETING The Special Meeting was reconvened at 6:11 p.m. ADJOURNMENT A MOTION was made by Councilmember Buchli, seconded by Councilmember Torgeson, to adjourn the Special meeting.
