MINUTES OF THE GILBERT COUNCIL SUBCOMMITTEE ON BOARD AND COMMISSION APPLICATION SCREENING, INTERVIEW, AND SELECTION IN SPECIAL MEETING, MAY 6, 2024, AT 5:00 P.M., MUNICIPAL CENTER I, COMMUNITY ROOM 202, 50 E. CIVIC CENTER DRIVE, GILBERT, ARIZONA COUNCIL PRESENT: Mayor Brigette Peterson; Vice Mayor Scott Anderson; Councilmembers Chuck Bongiovanni, Bobbi Buchli, Yung Koprowski, Kathy Tilque, and Jim Torgeson COUNCIL ABSENT: CALL TO ORDER OF SPECIAL MEETING Mayor Peterson called the meeting to order at 5:14 p.m. RECESS OF SPECIAL MEETING AND RECONVENE IN EXECUTIVE SESSION A MOTION was made by Councilmember Torgeson, seconded by Councilmember Koprowski, to recess the Special Meeting and reconvene in Executive Session pursuant to A.R.S. §38- 431.03(A)(1) to interview and consider applicants Benjamin Dranetz, Clint Dunaway, Gwyndolynn Gentry, Jonathan Jaimeson, Stephanie Low Novotony, Christine Kyselka, Jason Lochinger, Christopher Peterson, Juan Marcos Romero, and John Torbet for the Judicial Selection and Advisory Board. Motion carried 7-0. ADJOURN EXECUTIVE SESSION AND CONVENE SPECIAL MEETING The Special Meeting was reconvened at 7:33 p.m. ADJOURNMENT A MOTION was made by Councilmember Buchli, seconded by Councilmember Bongiovanni, to adjourn the Special meeting.
