MINUTES OF THE GILBERT TOWN COUNCIL SUBCOMMITTEE ON BOARD AND COMMISSION APPLICATION SCREENING, INTERVIEW, AND SELECTION IN SPECIAL MEETING OF MONDAY, APRIL 20, 2026 AT 5:30 PM, MUNICIPAL BUILDING I, COMMUNITY ROOM 202, 50 E. CIVIC CENTER DRIVE, GILBERT, ARIZONA COUNCIL PRESENT: Mayor Scott Anderson; Councilmembers Bobbi Buchli, Kenny Buckland, and Jim Torgeson COUNCIL ABSENT: Vice Mayor Chuck Bongiovanni; and Councilmembers Yung Koprowski and Monte Lyons CALL TO ORDER OF SPECIAL MEETING Mayor Anderson called the meeting to order at 5:30 p.m. RECESS OF SPECIAL MEETING AND RECONVENE IN EXECUTIVE SESSION A MOTION was made by Councilmember Buchli, seconded by Councilmember Buckland, to recess the Special Meeting and reconvened in Executive Session pursuant to A.R.S. §38-431.03(A)(1) to interview and consider Mary Feder and M. Reed Staheli for the Self-Insured Trust Board. Motion carried 4-0. ADJOURN EXECUTIVE SESSION AND RECONVENE SPECIAL MEETING A MOTION was made by Councilmember Buckland, seconded by Councilmember Torgeson, to adjourn Executive Session and reconvene in Special Meeting. Motion carried 4-0. The Special Meeting was reconvened at 6:00 p.m. ADJOURNMENT A MOTION was made by Councilmember Buchli, seconded by Councilmember Torgeson, to adjourn the Special meeting.
