MINUTES OF THE GILBERT TOWN COUNCIL SUBCOMMITTEE ON BOARD AND COMMISSION APPLICATION SCREENING, INTERVIEW, AND SELECTION IN SPECIAL MEETING OF THURSDAY, JUNE 4, 2026 AT 4:00 PM, MUNICIPAL BUILDING I, COMMUNITY ROOM 202, 50 E. CIVIC CENTER DRIVE, GILBERT, ARIZONA COUNCIL PRESENT: Mayor Scott Anderson; Vice Mayor Chuck Bongiovanni; Councilmembers Bobbi Buchli, Kenny Buckland, Yung Koprowski, Monte Lyons, and Jim Torgeson COUNCIL ABSENT: None. CALL TO ORDER OF SPECIAL MEETING Mayor Anderson called the meeting to order at 4:00 p.m. RECESS OF SPECIAL MEETING AND RECONVENE IN EXECUTIVE SESSION A MOTION was made by Councilmember Lyons, seconded by Councilmember Buchli, to recess the Special Meeting and reconvened in Executive Session pursuant to A.R.S. §38-431.03(A)(1) to interview and consider applicants Raymond Kimball, Chris Kozak, Rose Lichtenfels, Douglas Malcore, Scott McFadden, James Paplacyzk, and Ross Pfaff for the Veterans Advisory Board. Motion carried 7-0. ADJOURN EXECUTIVE SESSION AND RECONVENE SPECIAL MEETING A MOTION was made by Councilmember Torgeson, seconded by Councilmember Koprowski, to adjourn Executive Session and reconvene in Special Meeting. Motion carried 7-0. The Special Meeting was reconvened at 5:45 p.m. ADJOURNMENT A MOTION was made by Councilmember Buckland, seconded by Councilmember Buchli, to adjourn the Special meeting.
