ITEM: 906 Western Avenue PCUP-006645-2026 PROJECT DESCRIPTION 1  The applicant is requesting approval of a Conditional Use Permit (CUP) to add the on-site sales, service, and consumption, as well as the off-site sales of alcoholic beverages as permitted with an ABC Type 02 License to an existing tavern (brewery with tasting room), and to allow expanded services, located at 906 Western Avenue in the "IND" (Industrial) zone. ENVIRONMENTAL DETERMINATION The project is categorically exempt from California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) review as a Class 1 “Existing Facilities” exemption pursuant to Section 15301 of the State CEQA Guidelines because the discretionary permit request is for an existing commercial tenant and for additional services, which does not involve expansion of the existing building. 2
