Update on Act Statuses.
Bob spoke with June of Ladies Must Swing; they are bringing 18 pieces and will need 15-18
chairs. Latest to cancel show would be 3PM. They will arrive by 5PM to set up.
Ann asked if there was a communication plan for canceled concerts; City Administrator
Safstrom stated there is a hotline, information can be shared on the City’s Facebook page and/or
Next-door. The Mayor can contact residents through Next-door for all Glendale neighborhoods
if he is notified to do so.
Bob Radtke asked how the show will open? Ann replied that Stars & Stripes will be played at
6:30 at the War Memorial, so suggested doing the National Anthem at that time as well.
City administrator Safstrom stated all concerts are 90 minutes long, Beer Garden employees are
there to open up and the Team Room or garage are available for the bands to store extra items.
Starting on June 20th, electronic sign located at Green Bay Rd & Mequon Rd will advertise the
Kids From Wisconsin concert. Silverado is sponsoring this show and may need some reserved
seating.
Tristann will be available to set up for the Pat McCurdy show. City Administrator Safstrom
stated there are 64 chairs total.
Bands bringing their own equipment per Bob are: Groove Therapy, and Whiskey Belles. Bob
1
asked who is available to help set up and move things around. Tristann is available July 17,
August 7, and July 31 but cannot make June 19th, July 10th or 24th.
Tristann has contact for music/tech setup as JoAnn wants someone she can contact to come and
move equipment around as needed.
Discuss Sponsorship Status / Fundraising Options.
Ms. Deuser gave an update on the fundraising for the Music in the Glen stating that the invoices
for the $14,250 sponsorships have gone out and some funds are already coming in. The Key
Magazine and Milwaukee Magazine print work is done.
For additional advertising 105 Mailers went out to Veterans and the MITG schedule is in the bus
shelter @ Applebee’s on North Port Washington Rd.
