NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING CITY OF GOLD BAR, WASHINGTON Tuesday, May 20th, 2025 7:00 PM Via Zoom & In person The City of Gold Bar will hold a Public Hearing on the Proposed Water Use Efficiency Goals on May 20th, 2025, at 7PM. The meeting will be both in‐person and via Zoom. Proposed Water Use Efficiency Goals 1. Maintain 3‐year annual distribution system leakage below 7% (2024‐ 7.8%) 2. Reduce customer consumption per equivalent residential unit (ERU) by 0.5 gallons per day over a 20‐year period. (2024 is 188.5 gallons per ERU per day.) 3. Reduce summer demand relative to the average day demand. This reduction will achieve goal 2. (2024 Summer Avg daily demand is 233.3 gallons per ERU per day.) 4. Continue water conservation education through brochures, notification information on back of the billing post cards and encouraging water saving fixtures. The City Council will hold a Public Hearing on May 20th, 2025, at 7 pm to hear and discuss community comments on the above Water Use Efficiency Goals for the next six year planning period.
