CITY OF GRAND PRAIRIE Notice of Possible Quorum - Lake Ridge Community Center Focus Group Monday, September 18, 2023 6:00 PM Betty Warmack Library, Empower Room,760 Bardin Rd, Grand Prairie, Texas The Lake Ridge Community Center Focus Group meeting will be held on Monday, September 18, 2023, at 6:00 p.m. at the Betty Warmack Library, Empower Room, 760 Bardin Rd, Grand Prairie, Texas. A quorum of the City Council may be present. This notice is being posted in compliance with the Texas Open Meetings Act. A focus group of 12-15 neighborhood leaders will be guided through a discussion about what residents might want to see in a community center being proposed at Lake Ridge and England Parkways. Guests are welcome to observe the proceedings and take an online survey to contribute their input at www.gptx.org/lakeridgesurvey. The nature of a focus group does not lend itself to public comments from the audience. A Lake Ridge Community Center Open House to convey and receive information and public comments from all interested residents, primarily south of I-20, will be conducted from 6 – 8 p.m. Oct. 9, 2023 at the Grand Peninsula Clubhouse, 2603 N.
