GRANDVIEW CITY COUNCIL SPECIAL MEETING MINUTES SEPTEMBER 10, 2018 1. CALL TO ORDER Mayor Norm Childress called the special meeting to order at 6:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers at City Hall. Present were: Mayor Childress and Councilmembers Gay Brewer, Mike Everett, Gloria Mendoza, Bill Moore and Joan Souders. Absent were: Councilmembers Dennis McDonald and Javier Rodriguez. Staff present were: City Administrator/Public Works Director Cus Arteaga, City Treasurer Matt Cordray and City Clerk Anita Palacios. 2. RETAIL RECRUITMENT PRESENTATION BY NAVIRETAIL Casey Kidd, CEO with NaviRetail, LLC., provided a retail recruitment presentation, a copy of which is attached hereto and incorporated herein as part of these minutes. The cost for a 12- month contract with NaviRetail was $36,975. Discussion took place. Following discussion, Council consensus was to direct staff to present a contract for services with NaviRetail, LLC., for consideration at the September 11th C.O.W. meeting. 3.
