Village of Grantsburg Administration Committee Meeting Tuesday, August 20, 2024 The Administration Committee for the Village of Grantsburg met on Tuesday, August 20, 2024, at 3:00 p.m. in the Village Board Room, 316 S. Brad Street, Grantsburg, Wisconsin. Present: Chairman/President Terrance Kucera, Trustee Greg Peer, Trustee Hank Java Others present: DPW John Erickson Call to Order Chairman/President Kucera called the Administration Committee meeting to order at 3:00 p.m. The Pledge of Allegiance was recited. The Administration Committee Will Convene into Closed Session to discuss next steps in hiring a Police Chief and to review a member of the Public Works crew pursuant to Wis. Stats. 19.85 (1) (c) “Considering employment, promotion, compensation or performance evaluation data of any public employee over which the government body has jurisdiction or exercises responsibility.” Motion by President Kucera, second by Trustee Java to convene into closed session at 3:01 p.m. Motion passed unanimously. The Administration Committee Will Reconvene into Open Session pursuant to Wis. Stats. 19.85 (2). Motion by President Kucera, second by Trustee Java to reconvene into open session at 4:25 p.m. Motion passed unanimously. Motion by Trustee Peer, second by Trustee Java to recommend the Village Board approve a wage increase for crew member Al Hicks effective August 20, 2024. Motion passed unanimously. Water tower rehab/painting grant C/T Meyer explained the WI DNR has now made Water Tower rehab and painting eligible for grant funding. Dan Penzkover from SEH sent information regarding this and DPW Erickson and C/T Meyer will continue to investigate and report back.
