Village of Grantsburg 316 Brad Street South Grantsburg, WI 54840 Administration Committee Meeting Minutes The Village Administration Committee met on Wednesday, November 5th, 2025, at 12:15 p.m. in the Village Board room, 316 Brad St S, Grantsburg, WI 54840. Present: Chairman/President Rick Lindberg Trustee Greg Peer Trustee Hank Java Others: Clerk/Treasurer Sheila Meyer Director of Public Works John Erickson Police Chief Jared Woody Officer Bridget Getts Grantsburg School District – Addison Czeck, Ryan Jansen Weld Riley – Nathan Miller Teamsters – Aaron Bembnister President Lindberg called the Administration Committee Meeting to order at 12:15 p.m. The Pledge of Allegiance was recited. Grantsburg School’s rental agreement for the Community Center President Lindberg reviewed the current contract for the gymnastic program’s use of the community center. He explained the Village’s request to have specific language in the contract regarding the high school gymnastic season. The committee explained they did not intend to have extra open gym hours included in the contract. The school district assumed that the lump sum rate for the 2025 contract was based on open gym hours in the past so they expected those additional hours would be included in the contract moving forward. Czeck and Jansen requested the committee provide specific language for an updated contract so they can present to the school board for their review. Motion by Trustee Java, second by Trustee Peer to recommend the Village Board update the 2025 contract with the Grantsburg School District for the gymnastics program to use the Village of Grantsburg Community Center for the WIAA defined high school gymnastics season, the month prior to that defined season and the school district’s summer school and super summer school. Motion carried unanimously. Czeck and Jansen left the meeting. The committee recessed from 12:50 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. THE ADMINISTRATION COMMITTEE WILL CONVENE INTO CLOSED SESSION pursuant to Wis. Stats. 19.85 (1) (e) to discuss matters pertaining to a collective bargaining agreement which for competitive or bargaining reasons requires a closed session. Motion by Trustee Java, second by Trustee Peer to convene into closed session. Motion carried unanimously. Trustee Java left the meeting during closed session. THE ADMINISTRATION COMMITTEE WILL RECONVENE INTO OPEN SESSION pursuant to Wis. Stats. 19.85 (2). Motion by Trustee Peer, second by President Lindberg to reconvene into open session at 3:10 p.m. Motion carried unanimously. Any motions needed from closed session. Motion by Trustee Peer, second by President Lindberg to recommend the Village Board approve the contract with the Teamsters Local Union 662 for Police Officers as presented by Attorney Nathan Miller with Weld Riley to include the lateral transfer and promotions language as discussed for the period November 1st, 2025, through December 31st, 2027.
