Village of Grantsburg Leisure & Rec Committee Meeting Wednesday, September 4, 2024 The Leisure & Rec Committee for the Village of Grantsburg met on Wednesday, September 4, 2024, at 4:30 p.m. in the Village Board Room, 316 S. Brad Street, Grantsburg, Wisconsin. Present: Trustee Diane Barton, Trustee Leo Janke Others: Deputy C/T Longhenry Call to Order The Leisure & Rec Committee meeting was called to order at 4:30 p.m. The Pledge of Allegiance was recited. 2025 campground rates & rules The committee discussed the current camping rates, rules and Seasonal Camper Agreement. An extensive survey of other campgrounds will be done during 2025. Motion by Trustee Barton, second by Trustee Janke to recommend the Village Board approve leaving the current rates, rules and Seasonal Camper Agreement the same for the 2025 camping season. Motion passed unanimously. 2025 Budget discussion Trustee Janke asked that an estimate be obtained to redo the driveway going into the campground, north of the Pickleball courts, for consideration in the 2025 budget. Any other 2025 budget considerations will be communicated to DPW Erickson. Adjournment The Leisure & Rec Committee meeting was adjourned at 4:55 p.m. Sheila Meyer Clerk/Treasurer
