Village of Grantsburg Village Board of Trustees Special Meeting Monday, June 17, 2024, 2024 The Board of Trustees for the Village of Grantsburg met on Monday, June 17, 2024, at 5:00 p.m. at 316 S. Brad Street, Grantsburg, Wisconsin. Present: President Terrance Kucera, Trustee Diane Barton, Trustee Greg Peer, Trustee Leo Janke, Trustee Hank Java Absent: Trustee John McNally, Trustee Maurice DJ Henderson, Others: DPW John Erickson, Deputy Clerk/Treasurer Allison Longhenry, Gordon Lewis Call to Order President Kucera called the Special Village Board meeting to order at 5:00 p.m. Clerk/Treasurer Meyer conducted roll call. The Pledge of Allegiance was recited. Class “A” Beer & “Class A” Liquor license C/T Meyer explained the application for a Beer and Liquor license was not received in time from Family Dollar Store #27757 to be considered at the regular June 10th Board meeting. Motion by Trustee Java, second by Trustee Peer to approve the Class “A” Beer and “Class A” Liquor license for Family Dollar Store #27757, 389 State Rd 70 E., Joshua Bragger, Agent for July 1, 2024 to June 30, 2025. Motion passed unanimously. Cigarette, Tobacco, and Electronic Vaping Device Retail license C/T Meyer explained the applications for Family Dollar Store #27757 and for Dollar General Store #17495 were also received after the deadline. Motion by Trustee Janke, second by Trustee Java to approve the Cigarette, Tobacco, and Electronic Vaping Device Retail license for July 1, 2024 to June 30, 2025 for both Family Dollar Store #27757, 389 State Rd 70 E, Joshua Bragger, Agent and for Dolgencorp, LLC dba Dollar General Store #17495, 215 State Rd 70 E, Angenla Fickbohm, Agent. Motion passed unanimously. Administration Committee recommendations President Kucera reported there was only discussion at the Administration Committee meeting held on June 17, 2024.
