City Council Meetings

City of Green River, City Council Workshop Proceedings for September 22, 2020, 6:30 pm, Council Chambers, Mayor Pete Rust called the meeting to order. The following Council Members were present: Gary Killpack, Robert Berg, Lisa Maes, Mike Shutran, Tom Murphy and Jim Zimmerman. The following were present representing the City: City Administrator Reed Clevenger, Director of Finance Chris Meats, Director of Public Works Mark Westenskow, Senior Building Inspector Ken Yager, Communications Administrator Steve Core, Assistant Fire Chief Larry Erdmann and Parks & Recreation Director Brad Raney. Discussions: Nuisance Enforcement Issues and Directions. Chief Jarvie gave a brief presentation on nuisance enforcement status and issues. He asked Council for direction on what they see as important issues that they would like to address. The consensus from Council is the on-site triangles, pedestrian passageways and parking are the most important issues and should be addressed first. They asked for staff to come up with ways to address these issues and the best way to resolve them to make sure everyone is safe and has a clear understanding of where the responsibility lies.
